Statoil tests a vessel that will help reduce seasickness on the job

Technicians are not sailors. They get seasick just like many others. In addition, a long boat trip in rough seas is not the best way to recharge for a workday in a challenging environment. Statoil supports development of new technology that will offer technique that is more efficient that will in turn, increase efficiency and safety, says Marine Operations Manager for Statoil’s Hywind offshore wind farm, Anders Wikborg.

Wikborg explains that Statoil has supported this project technically, financially and operationally.
